Frozen shoulder is a condition that affects shoulder joint. It usually involves pain and stiffness which develops gradually. Treatment for frozen shoulder involves range-of-motion exercises and, sometimes numbing medications injected into the joint capsule. In very few cases, arthroscopic surgery may be indicated to loosen the joint capsule so that it can move more freely.
